A pop up COVID testing clinic will be set up in Taree in the coming days.
It will not require an appointment to be booked. I will post an update once the details are locked in.
In the mean time, if you have any symptoms, please get tested and isolate:
In light of exposures at schools, please note that the drive-through testing clinic at Cape Hawke Community Hospital in Forster tests children as well as adults.

Today the NSW Government has announced that travel from Greater Sydney to Regional NSW will be delayed until November 1st.
Ensuring the health and wellbeing of the vulnerable, elderly and frail people in our communities has always been of paramount importance.
The delay will give us more time to increase our double dose rates of vaccination which as of Monday was 65% fully vaccinated and 91.1% first dose in the MidCoast LGA.
I know some small business owners who have been waiting for the added boost of tourists will be disappointed, and support for businesses will be extended to help them through this period and ensure they reopen their doors to tourists in 18 days time.
As with every single decision made during the pandemic, this one has not been made lightly and I thank our communities for their understanding.
I ask that if you haven’t already, please go and book a vaccination appointment at your local GP or pharmacy in order to protect yourself, your loved ones, the vulnerable and our small communities.
