Chatham Public School was made non-operational for the onsite attendance of staff and students due to a member of the school community who tested positive to COVID-19.
The NSW Department of Education and NSW Health have been working closely to ensure the health and safety of all students and staff is maintained. This work has included identifying close contacts of the confirmed case.
The students and staff identified as contacts have been notified and asked to self-isolate for the required period.
The school has been thoroughly cleaned and will be operational for the onsite attendance of staff and students from Wednesday 24 November 2021.
